This piano was made in Japan at Yamaha's Hamamatsu factory. Yamaha made its first grand piano in 1902. They are considered among the best engeneered pianos in the world.

1985 Samick
Sleek Continental Style
Samick pianos are inconsistent. This one is exceptional! Made in South Korea in 1985 it is one of the better examples we have seen. It is very well built and doesn't have any of the problems we have seen with the Indonesian- made models. It has very little wear and will give many years of reliable serivce.

We acquired this cute piano from United Churches of Olympia. It had been in their downstairs fellowship hall for many years. Recently a mid size newer grand piano was donated to the church and were happy to take it off their hands.

1955 Wurlitzer Spinet
Mid Century Charmer
The 1950's was the golden period for spinet pianos. In this time period, these instruments were taken seriously and many of them are well crafted instruments. Spinets often get a bad rap because technicians often don't know how to bring out their best qualities - these pianos need special attention to the voicing to make them sing. Also, tuning them requires special know-how that is often lacking with techicians who rely heavily on electronic tuning devices.

This was a rescue project for the Puget Sound Chapter of the Piano Technicians Guild. We inspected it and decided it would be a perfect educational experience for our apprentice members. It has had its hammers reshaped, ironed and voiced. The action has been regulated and it has been tuned. This piano came out surprisingly good! Proceeds go to supporting our educational activities.
The outside is a litle rough but is a very tasteful design.

1991 Yamaha Console
SOLD!
A very gently used piano that is basically like new inside! Purchased locally from the original owner, this piano in some ways is better than new with refined voicing and regulation and humidity control system. The middle pedal practice mute is a great feature for practicing without disturbing others.
This Yamaha was made in the USA, unlike the modern ones that are now made in China. I like the touch and tone of the American made Yamahas .

1903 Heintzman "Grand Piano in Upright Form"
SOLD!
Known as "The Steinway of Canada" the Heintzman company made spectcular upright pianos in the early 20th Century. When observed from the back you can see the soundboard is consturcted much like a grand piano. We just installed a new set of beautiful hammers on giving the piano a clear warm tone with beautiful sustain. The bass will knock your socks off!
