Passing the PTG Tuning Exam.

Ditch the Strip: The Whole Tone Tuning Advantage

Many years ago I explored giving up the traditional temperament strip method of tuning and began using wedge mutes and tuning the unisons as I went along. Now, most of the time I use a single mute when tuning grands. This has transformed my tuning and taken it to the next level.
