Lacey, WA — Longstanding Piano Care for Schools, Universities & Local Homes
For more than 20 years, I’ve tuned and maintained pianos throughout Lacey — including ongoing work for the Lacey School District and St. Martin’s University, including the phenomenol Steinway Concert Grand that is used for the St Martins Abbey concert series. Years ago, we placed a beautiful Kawai grand at the Jubilee Lodge, and I continue to care for instruments in homes across Hawk’s Prairie, Hicks Lake, and the greater Lacey community. My full range of tuning, regulation, voicing, and repair services is available to clients throughout Lacey.

Olympia, WA — Boutique Piano Care & Piano Restoration in the Heart of the South Sound
Olympia has been home to Pianova for more than three decades, and it’s where I carry out the full range of tuning, regulation, voicing, repair, and restoration work. I tune two pianos at the Capitol Building — a vintage upright in the House Chamber and the beautiful Blüthner grand in the Reception Room — and I maintain all the instruments for Olympia High School. I also provide pianos for the teaching studio at R.L. Ray Violin Shop and for public use at Rhythm’s Coffee House downtown. From historic homes near the Capitol to studios and performance spaces across the city, Olympia remains the center of my workshop and the heart of my piano‑care practice.

Tumwater, WA — Precision Piano Care for Historic Spaces & Community Schools
Tumwater’s blend of historic spaces and community schools has made it a meaningful part of my piano‑care work for many years. I maintain instruments for Tumwater Public Schools, and I regularly tune the vintage Steinway grand at the historic Schmidt House as well as the piano at the Tumwater Masonic Lodge. From Tumwater Hill to Black Lake and the Brewery District, I provide the full range of tuning, regulation, voicing, repair, and restoration services to families, teachers, and musicians throughout Tumwater.

We Travel!
In addition to Olympia, Lacey, and Tumwater, I also serve clients throughout the wider South Sound and Southwest Washington region, including Puyallup, Tacoma, Gig Harbor, Centralia, Chehalis, Shelton, and Aberdeen/Hoquiam. Families, teachers, churches, and musicians across these communities rely on the same full range of tuning, regulation, voicing, repair, and restoration services.
Honestly, I'm willing to go just about anywhere if I'm compensated for the time and wear and tear on my car! I've been hired to work on pianos as far South as Portland OR, and as far North as Redmond and Bainbridge Island.
Basic travel rate is $150/hr for the trip out.
We have special trip rates for certain areas - call for more information.
Rate can be split if you find others in your area that need service. We can do up to 4 in one day.
