I decided to buy a piano and to learn
how to play it. I planned to buy a $500 piano from the newspaper. Ryan
patiently showed me several pianos and talked to me about the strengths and
weaknesses of each. After shopping around, I bought a beautiful PS Wick from
him, which he had refurbished. I'm so glad that I paid a little bit more and
got a piano in good working order. My friend bought a cheaper piano - it
proved to to be difficult to play and required additional work.Ryan also
recommended a great local piano teacher. I've been playing the piano daily
and taking lessons since then. I love the piano - and Ryan still tunes it. |

Ryan Sowers is that rare piano tuner-technician who is an excellent pianist and is able to translate his sensitivity as a player into the focus for the technical work that he does. Ryan Sowers restored my baby grand piano that had been pushed aside, now it's a source of pride. Painfully out of tune and a chore to play, it sat in the corner rarely played. Ryan's technical skill, trained ear and his love of playing the piano brought the sound and action back. New keys and strings now make it a pleasure to play. space I had been waiting for the day I would be able to buy my own piano and thought the day would never come. I want to thank Ryan for bringing this beautiful 1893 Hardman piano to my attention. Ryan made my dreams come true with this gorgeous upright grand piano. I've really come to love the piano in a new way after seeing all the parts of the instrument and the restoration that Ryan has done. His work is truly phenomenal. My husband and I have a new found respect and appreciation for the older instruments. Not only is the quality unmatched, they have such a story behind them and they carry such spirit in their song. We feel privileged to have this piano in our home. I play it every chance I get and the smile never leaves my face when I hear that beautiful tone.
